STR8 – Face-to-face with the Greek Freak
STR8 knows very well how to stand out and offer unique experiences as well as special fragrances. In 2018, the brand dared to take the next big step, launching the new perfume, AHEAD with the signature of Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the curation of the Sales Promotion Center.
As part of this campaign, a shopper activation was designed in the SKLAVENITIS supermarket chain of stores with the main protagonist being Giannis Antetokounmpo and basketball. Basketball-visual merchandising courts were set up, while young and old audience was given the opportunity to shoot, relate and feel closer to their role model.
For the event’s purposes and after a reperage in the intended stores, a customized space of 9-12m2 was formed in each store, with “parquet” indoor floor and real racket markings around the basketball set up.
To the right and left side of the set-up, the secondary points of sale (displays) “stands” were placed filled with STR8 products, while next to them the basketballs that the public could shoot with, were positioned, to win product samples.
Consumers also enjoyed a pleasant surprise from the team of cheerleaders who disembarked from a branded van and invaded the stores with the whistles of the coach – supervisor.
Finally, it is worth noting that during the visits of the Buzz team, the stores asked for an extension of their stay in the area.
